As I promised in my last blog post I will be sharing what I learn from my Instyle Magazine about what is in for this spring season:) One of the trends I have learned that will be in for this spring is the color lilac!! I am soooooo excited about this beautiful color being in this year!!!!! For a while now it has seemed like pinks, blues, and mint greens have been the color trend these pass few springs. But this year designers have decided to use this warm macaroon color that is just heavenly and delicious!!!!:) For a striking but not showy look pair this color with ice blue or caramel brown. Make this trend look airy and stick to minimal accessories that will ground the outfit. If you have a cool skin tone wear ice blue and lilac close to your face; if your skin has a warm tone do the same with caramel brown. Just got this WONDERFUL magazine a few days ago!!! If you ever need to know of a GREAT fashion magazine I would recommend Instyle Magazine!!!! I always learn sooooo much about fashion through this magazine!!! Right now I'm learning sooooo much about what is in for this spring season!!! Can't wait to share what I learn with all of you!!!:)
Valentine Outfits
Its that time of year to pull out your little red or pink dress for your Valentine's Day date night. Whether you are with your family, friends, boyfriend, or husband these outfit ideas will help you put a little fun twist on your Valentine's Day look! Choose a red dress that has some fun details like a big pretty bow. Wear your red dress with a bling necklace, neutral kitten heels with bling, and for a fun pop of color take along a bright mint blue green clutch. If you are going to wear pink I say go feminine with a lace pink dress! Put a fun edgy twist to your pink by mixing it with the color burgundy:) Wear your pink dress with a pair of burgundy heels and a bling necklace that has some burgundy in it. Top it off with a neutral champagne bling clutch so that way it won't compete with all the burgundy that is going on. Have fun and enjoy you Valentine's Day!!!
Cold weather
It is getting cold again here in Nashville TN after a few days of feeling like spring. So if you are out today fight off the chilly weather with a oversized waffle knit sweater in a bright color with boyfriend jeans. To top off your look wear a pattern scarf with flats and gold bracelets for a little sparkle. When you get home wrap up in a warm fuzzy blanket and drink some warm cocoa:)
